I decided to revisit splits-elliptic. This is the result, a suitably (I hope!) imposing representation of Lovecraft's famous submerged domain of the great Cthulhu.

My entry for Apophysis Challenge #61, what I shall tongue-in-cheekily refer to as "Don't move, don't turn around!". Some crafty stuff in here: a 4-transform chain-linked loop; the movement issue sidestepped by using mobius; and some mad colouring using 2 dc plugins.
