Tiempo del fiesta

Scratched linoleum of questionable design, or an interesting new direction?

See Emily play

see 'See Emily play' at deviantART

Named after the early Pink Floyd single from the psychedelic days, just because it seemed to carry that feeling. I also see Escher-style lizards poking in from the sides, two-headed cherubims and nuns...

Re-visiting an older style and introducing new twists. A nice little seam to mine :D

A twist in the drip

Exchange resonances

Back to basics

see 'Back to basics' at deviantART

My entry for the Back to basics contest:

"You MUST include a basic geometric shape (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, ect) somewhere in your fractal (rectangular frames do NOT count on this) and/or you must also show a basic concept of fractal art (self-similarity, iterations, spirals, julia forms, mandelbrots, etc)"

Three transforms (2 linear, 1 julian), aiming for strong self-similarity down the scales. To bring the 'basics' right up to date, the colouring has been greatly enhanced using xaos. No sharpening was necessary, besides which that would render the piece ineligible!

Hedgehog, brain, lichen?

Cracking the code

see 'Cracking the code' at deviantART

On the day that CERN's Large Hadron Collider kicks off on its quest to unlock some of spacetime's more esoteric secrets, so I begin to unravel the mysteries of a variation whose potential, so eloquently exploited by others, has heretofore evaded me. What a sync wink! I've gone all bipolar :D

Where were you?

see 'Where were you?' at deviantART

To commemorate the lack of summer here, a stylised blast of solar radiance. I should turn my attention to autumn...

Full view essential (click throught to dA) but be warned - it's BAD for the eyes :D

Cramming as much detail as possible into the stained glass framework.
