Sacred geometry #1

Using a new tiling method I came across, this is part of a trapezoidal tile whose internal structure is determined by tweaking the colour distribution. I love the geometrical trompe-l'oeil effects: evanescent circles, hexagons and thomboids winking their virtual existence.

Over the rooftops

A simple Sierpinski tile substituted with lazyjess - 'tis an awesome plugin for this style! I love the surreally recursive vistas of receding rooftops. Used the Stopping SL feature of Chaotica for the first time to retain a little grain.

Building blocks

My entry for Apophysis Challenge #16, geometric designs. A Sierpinski built entirely from squares, and with a slight twist to remove symmetry and give a more free-flowing look.

Urban dreams

As I assemble style galleries for the re-vamped website, I find myself obsessively revisiting each style and bringing to bear fresh know-how, like the antithesis of lovingly discarded pasts. A linked Sierpinski, rendered deliberately grainy in parts.
